Hey, I'm Luca.

I spent seven years as Co-founder, CEO, and Head of Product at Injoy, a health tech company at the intersection of microbiome science and AI. We built the most comprehensive gut health test on the market, a three-sample longitudinal approach designed to capture how the microbiome changes over time, along with an AI assistant trained on 250,000+ peer-reviewed papers. We grew to 15,000 users, 80+ clinic partners, and raised $3M.

My path into this started early. I was diagnosed with cancer at five, and later dealt with a severe inflammatory condition that took months of experimentation to resolve. Even with a background in pharmacology at McGill and time in the lab, finding answers was slow and uncertain. For most people, it is even harder.

That experience shaped how I build. At Injoy, the challenge was not just scientific accuracy, it was getting someone to take the first step at all. I spent years working on problems people are uncomfortable talking about, where trust and clarity matter more than anything.

Along the way, I was part of the Techstars Montreal AI program as its youngest founder, named one of Quebec's Top 25 Emerging Entrepreneurs by C2 Montreal, and got to do things like co-design a large-scale inflatable GI tract in London and give HRH Princess Anne a walkthrough of why gut health is about much more than digestion.

These days, I'm focused on AI and what it changes about how we build products. I'm especially interested in bringing these tools to people who are not already looking for them, and making their value obvious in everyday life.

I'm also building a personal health OS on the side, and always looking for what's next.
